I use a full frame 35mm format digital SLR Canon 5D as my primary camera. I typically have it mounted with the optional battery pack, and a Really Right Stuff L-bracket for quick mounting on my tripod. This camera provides a high degree of flexibility for many subjects in a variety of conditions.

Whenever possible I use a tripod to enhance the care and technical quality of the picture I produce. Carbon Fiber tripods provide good stability while not being as much of a choor to carry. I use a ballhead with an Arca-Swiss style quick release. I find ballheads allow for quicker composition.

I use the 12 color HP Z3100 to produce my prints. A high quality archival printer that can produce stunning prints.
